My Family (16)

I was quite busy the past weeks since my sister needs my help just to be with her wherever she went. I could not even do other things because we gave her more importance because she will just stay for few weeks with us. She had been working abroad for a couple of years already and she will just visit us for few weeks. That’s why every time she’s back with us, we prioritize every minute to be with her.

I had a hard time working my own thesis writing because we want the best time to be given to her. That’s what sisters are for. Through thick and thin, in every detail of our lives we need to be helping each other. I’m always grateful that our sister had been a great help to all of us as a family. She helped and supported our parents fully and blessed us when we needed some help. More importantly, she blessed everyone in the family and she worked hard for us and hoping and praying that she could find the best man the Lord will give her in the near future. She needs to be settled and have her own family to be with and to take care of.

I always pray for God’s blessing to be upon her and her family in the future since she’s growing older each day and she needs to be settled. Sis, thanks for blessing us all!

Hubby loves to make any pause anywhere as long as there is an available camera. It’s his free time so we’re able to take pictures and the place behind would always be nature or anything that looks great.

These are some of the things that my son loved. Just to make a pause, play with friends and write or draw something. He enjoys doing it alone or with friends.

Hubby loves to teach and does some crafts. He enjoys teaching the kids all things in order for them to gain knowledge out of something.Last summer he taught these kids and each one learned something. This is my hubby’s enjoyable moment while he is absent from us, his family. Hope to be with hubby soon.

Last Tuesday, my kids went to school for the first time here in the Phil. It’s quite hard for us since hubby is not around but we’re able to survive. AJ was so happy to learn again in a new setting with different people. For him, these people are foreigners because he grew in another country.

But anyway, they easily learned, AJ who is 7 is now in grade 1 and he learns fast in our own dialect and tried to learn in Filipino language. However, Em2 who is now 15 years old is quite upset at first since he is new in the christian school and had no friends yet. It’s a new surroundings and environment. He just need to adjust a bit and enjoy his teenage years in high school of course and needs to learn more and more each day. He will be taking a test to qualify him in DepEd and to pursue his dreams. We thank God for the school who allowed him to study for a while before going to college. It’s another experience for him since it is new to him too. I do believe God loves them and will bless their future. I keep on trusting the Creator for that. He knows what’s best for my children.

We had played bowling before hubby went back to Thailand. Our kids enjoyed a lot with some friends. It was the desire of AJ few months ago when we came back to the Phil. It was his dream come true. And he desired to play again.

AJ slept early last night and woke up early too since he was advised to go to church for VBS. He was the first to wake up and touched and asked me to wake up and prepare for his going. We went out together and prepared for another task this day. My teenager went to a special class, AJ went to church with his Papa, and I hurriedly went to school for my last day of class in the Master’s Degree.

Then we went home late because we watched movies. It was a full and memorable day for us as a family.

My husband will only be here for few days – together with the youth leaders of our church they were able to create a discipleship program, – “Boot Camp 2010″ – its a camp designed for juniors who are willing to be trained for discipleship and leadership.

Boot Camp was designed like a military training, rules and regulations based on the rigid and strict discipline of a military life. Lots of group dynamics were designed.

First time were always full of surprises and exciting moments. Today is the first day of our son going to a review center for his supplemental classes. He seems unsure of what to do – even nervously laughing that he might lost his way going to the center.

Anyway, his father had given him the sketch of the place just in case. I guess, all of us undergo such kind of experience – all our “first times” seems to be full of hilarious if not down-to-earth happenings.

Today is our first date with hubby. We just roam around SM and bought some things needed for the house. We’re quite excited and we enjoyed our day until evening. Our teenager also had time to be with some friends and cousins in the church. They had practiced in the praise and worship. After few hours of practice we met at SM with another friend, his kuya Kemy and they ate dinner at Jollibee with us.

We went home around 9 pm, and quite tired but happy. Our teenager asked permission to be with his kuya Kemy to sleep in their house tonight. We just let them ride on a jeepney and we left and went home.
